The motto of our health care policy is that "No individual should fail to secure adequate medical care because of inability to pay for it ". The health services should provide fully developed institutional facilities necessary for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Our main target group are the people from lower socio-economic groups which are lagging behind in the process of growth and development.
Reducing the uneven access to public health care system between the better and owned and the more vulnerable sections of the society is the main corner stone of our health care policy.
Our main emphasis has been laid on the implementation of health programs through local people. There is need to ensure improved standard of public health and family welfare. Use of generic medicine, awareness about alternative medicine systems like Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, and Yoga are some of the main focus of our health care system.
Our vision is information, education, and communication policy which maximise the dissemination of information to these population groups which cannot be effectively approached by using mass media only. Awareness campaign, health care camps, free distributions of medicines, routine checkups are some of the main objects to work.
Priority is to give preventive health education and promoting health seeking behaviour among children, ladies and elderly persons. There are special programs to educate people about malnutrition and anaemia among children and women, Neo-natal and post-natal care, proper vaccination, hygiene, open defecation, clean environment etc.
We are providing primary and secondary health care facilities in selected low income areas.
Universal access to equitable, affordable and quality health care services that are accountable and responsive to people's need should be right of every individual. We are serving as Facilitators, Mobilizes and Providers of health care.
